What kind of photo should I send in?
The clearer the picture the better, but I can work with lower quality images as well. Blurry photos, however, can not be unblurred.
Don’t worry about getting the subject to look at the camera, as often they’ll be interacting with elements in the photo. I understand that some people aren’t a fan of the typical ‘cheese’ photo - and frankly neither am I! I encourage you to take lots of photos and send a bunch to me and then I can choose which will fit the theme you’re looking for the best!
I don’t even know where to start!?
That’s okay! First is to get the subject into a well lit but not harsh light. You don’t want your subject squinting! I suggest outside in the shadow of a building or under a big tree.
I light coloured room with lots of light coming in from the window can work too. Once you choose a theme I can make further suggestions on where and how to get the best shot!
Am I limited to which theme I can get?
At this time, I carry an assortment of themes, if you do not see what you want, send me a message - I love creativity, and we can work together to create something you’ll love.
How many people are in one composite?
The price is for 1 person and/or child. Additional people can be added to a composite for $40 each. If you want separate composites for each subject, that’s two separate orders.
I can work with you to design a fun composite even if the subjects are very different. Once we start the order, I send out a questionnaire to get a better feel of who they are and make a piece of art unique to them!
How long does it take to receive my wall art and/or digital?
My turnaround time is approximately two weeks. However, depending on the complexity the composite could take a bit longer. I will inform you before I get started if this is the case.
What happens after I place my order?
I will send out a questionnaire regarding your selection and to get to know the subject(s) better. Are they fierce and brave? Or talkative yet timid? My goal is to make artwork that reflects the subject and who they are.
